SmartRR

Smart Reporting and Referral (SMART RR) is a technology-based mobile application that allows survivors, social workers and service providers to report and refer cases/incidents of GBV from their smartphones. The tool was created by Big Family 360 Foundation, a national non-governmental organization in Nigeria.

Goal

• Report GBV incidents.

• Easily locate the nearest GBV center near you.

• Provide safe zone for reports with no identity disclosure.

My role

Working with google APIs to create a secured gender-based violence system to help provide service to report and refer cases/incidents of gender-based violence from their smartphones. Solved the issues of privacy exposure of report cases by providing a new way of securing the connection between victims and organizations.

With my contribution to SmartRR

• It has a 19% increase in the number of registrations.

• Has more cases reported on a monthly bases.

• Has a 78% increase in revenues.
